Certificate III in Security Equipment
The trade qualification behind alarm, access control and CCTV work. Covers installing, commissioning and maintaining security equipment.
Put someone on the tools and have them qualify while they work. We deliver the off-the-job training and the assessment.
Taking on an apprentice or trainee allows you to develop a skilled employee who learns your business, your standards and the way you work. They’ll continue gaining valuable experience on the job while we work with you to schedule their off-the-job training around your business needs.
Apprenticeships aren’t always just for new employees. Existing staff can undertake an apprenticeship, building on the skills and experience they already have. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may reduce the training required, and employers may be eligible for government incentives.
Please use our Financial support calculator to find any financial incentives/subsidies that are available. Please note this tool is provided as a guide and we always ask individuals to confirm their eligibility with the various Departments directly.

Training dates are provided well in advance, allowing employers to plan around them and keep apprentices on the job for longer, uninterrupted periods.
On completion, your apprentice gains a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification, and your business gains a skilled, qualified employee who understands your operations and the standards you expect.
