Funded Training
Thanks to the amazing people at the Department of Training and Workforce Development, a huge range of qualifications are subsidised through a variety of programs, some are even free! At Aspire Education and Training, we are fortunate to be supported by the Department of Training and Workforce Development to deliver the ICT30524 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology through both the traineeship program and the Priority Industry Training for existing workers program.
Traineeships
Eligible students undertaking a traineeship in the qualification ICT30524 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology are funded under the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Training fund with Job and Skills WA.If you are an employer looking at supporting a trainee or are looking for a traineeship, get in touch with us to discuss your options and find out more about what’s available.
Priority Industry Training
Aspire Education and Training is also funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development to deliver the ICT30524 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology through the Priority Industry Training program. So, if you are eligible for funding your fees could be highly subsidised by the Department of Training and Workforce Development. This program reduces the training fees in eligible courses, such as the ICT30524 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology, by 50% or more and fees are capped at $400 for concession students and $1200 for non-concession students per year. Please be aware, the student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Funding Eligibility
To be eligible for funding, individuals are required to be an Australian Permanent Resident, currently employed and not currently on an active training plan (not an Apprentice or Trainee) or a holder of one of the following VISA’s:
- holders of a sub-class 300, 309, 444, 445, 449, 461, 785, 786, 790, or 820 visa
- secondary holders of a temporary visa of sub-class 188, 457, 482, 489, 491 or 494 visa
- holders of a Bridging Visa E (subclasses 050 and 051) where the visa holder has made a valid application for a visa of subclass 785 or 790
- holders of a bridging visa who are eligible to work, and who have made a valid application for a subclass 866.

Concession rates
The following students are entitled to the concession rate on course fees.
- Persons and dependants of persons holding: a Pensioner Concession Card; a Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs; or a Health Care Card
- Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of services from the following Commonwealth support or employment services programs: Workforce Australia; or Parent Pathways
- Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY
- Persons and dependants of persons in receipt of the Youth Allowance
- Persons and dependants of persons who are inmates of a custodial institution
- Secondary school-aged persons, not enrolled at school
